I took some time after college to do some freelance work which included rebranding and creating a website for a start-up called Aiota. AIOTA is a leading provider of cutting-edge retail solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services to help businesses stay ahead in the rapidly evolving retail landscape. As specialists in modernizing retail, we support our customers every step of the way, from evaluating the right solution to implementing it seamlessly and providing ongoing maintenance and support services.
INTRODUCTION
This project takes you through the process of designing a website for AIOTA that effectively showcases their advanced retail solutions while reinforcing their brand values. AIOTA's offerings include Electronic Shelf Edge Labels, Smart Trolleys, and Camera & Computer Vision-Based Solutions—each designed to enhance efficiency and profitability in the retail sector. The website needed to communicate their vision, expertise, and the benefits of these technologies while providing a smooth user experience.

WEBSITE DETAILS
NAVIGATION

A sticky top navigation bar allowed users to access the dropdown products tab and other sections easily. The Products tab, in particular, was designed with a dropdown menu for easy access to detailed pages on Electronic Shelf Edge Labels, Smart Trolleys, and Camera & Computer Vision-Based Solutions.

INTERACTIVE ELEMENTS
Hover effects and animations were added to provide users with feedback when interacting with buttons or product images. These subtle interactions guided users to learn more about each product and encouraged engagement.

MOBILE RESPONSIVENESS
As a tech-savvy audience often uses mobile devices, a mobile-first approach was used. All sections were optimized for small screens with collapsible menus, simplified forms, and responsive design elements to maintain readability and ease of use.
